I like to play with paper . . .

This paper sculpture is composed of 30 golden rectangles (cut from pages of an old book), folded corner to corner with the same 'handedness'. These rectangles, their folds and the overall construction was inspired by my mental consideration of the angles created by incising a cube within a dodecahedron, demonstrating that they are dual polyhedra.
Yes, my mind is often full of strange things!

MGS AGM tote-bag mock-up

MGS AGM logo adapted for an event tote-bag give away

This was fun because it was basically an inverted image (white printing on a denim-blue fabric) so I had to decide what parts of the art would be re-inverted in order to read properly.

See  Friday, April 25, 2008 for the original art.

The Garden Resourse Guide for Northern California's Mediterranean Climate

I designed, composed, formatted, and illustrated this educational booklet (approximately 80 pages) created by a team of volunteers and edited by Richard J Turner Jr (who was then also editor of Pacific Horticulture Magazine).  I also arranged for it to be printed by our partner, the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD).
